Pastor’s Welcome

Pastor’s Welcome

Family Photo at King’s Park (2013)

Thank you for clicking your way to this page. I want to personally welcome you here and I hope we can meet in person some day. Until then, feel free to connect with me either by email, Facebook, Twitter, even phone (yes, I still use a phone sometimes!)

SUNDAYS at 10:00am.  COFFEE SERVED at 9:30am.

When you come to our church on Sunday morning, you will probably notice our diversity – some people like to dress up with suits and dresses while others are comfortable wearing jeans and shorts (yes, shorts even in winter!); you will see many children and youth as well as many *ahem* “older” people as well; some people walk to church, others come by car; and, you might even see Bombers fans sitting next to Riders fans.

Children stay with their parents for the first half of our gathering team and then they are lead to their respective children’s programs by their teachers while the adults remain until the end of the service. These programs are for pre-school up to and including grade 8. All these classes meet weekly but our grade 7/8 class meets about twice a month.

How Ya Bean Cafe

Every Sunday morning the How Ya Bean Cafe serves fresh coffee (ground that morning) in the lobby starting at 9:30am. Our church service starts at 10am so come early and grab a fresh cuppa Joe! You are welcome to bring your coffee into the service with you or you can hang out in the lobby and drink your coffee before the service. Children often play in the adjacent gymnasium while their parents mingle in the lobby.

Coffee served at 9:30am.

CHrist-centred. spirit-empowered. Mission-focused.

Our vision prayer focuses our hearts to the goals of the Christian & Missionary Alliance: to be a disciple-making body of churches and believers who are Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, and Mission-focused.

This prayer is short and simple, but not always easy. That’s why we need each other. Through all that we do (Children’s Programs, Youth, Worship Services, The Wardrobe, Cornerstone Food Bank, Prayer Summits, Retreats etc.), this prayer fuels all that we do.
